Retention Schedule Rules
Student Discipline and Appeals Committee Files
Record Type
  • These are principal or operational records, that is, material directly related to the mandate or mission of your office.
  • This rule applies only to records in paper, digital and audiotape format.
Retention Period
  • Action 1: Keep record (paper copy) active in your office for 1 YEAR after final decision has been rendered and all appeals have been exhausted.
  • Action 2: Send record to the University Archives for permanent storage.
Additional Comments
Audiotape records will be eliminated after final judgment of appeal committee.
The University Archives will transfer to permanent storage reports announcing final decision. The rest of the student discipline case file will be eliminated.
